2010 Classic Clare Shiraz is a single vineyard wine from the original Provis Vineyard in the Clare Valley. 2010 is an exceptional vintage showing intensity in flavour due to small yields, the fruit was fermented in open fermenters, basket pressed and then matured for 18 months in French oak barriques and a further two years in bottle. The wine shows the unique character of the beautiful Clare Valley with a complex bouquet of spice, choc - mint and red fruits with a richly weighted, deeply textured palate.

Tasting Notes

Lifted Blackberry with hints of cacoa and roasted coffee bean on the nose. The palate shows rich, round dark cherry, black berry and plum with dark chocolate and subtle mcha notes
